MACP Committees

MACP is currently recruiting for committees to shape programming in 2016. Please indicate below your interest in serving on any of these committees.

Committee Description: This committee will make recommendations to the Board of Directors on developing diversity programming for chambers of commerce. Populations include ethnic and minority businesses, young professionals, women, and LGBT business groups among others.

Committee Description: This committee will make recommendations to the Board of Directors on the MACP Communications Mix including newsletters, social media and marketing. This committee meets three times throughout the year followed by a face-to-face roundtable with a speaker for sharing best practices.

Committee Description: This committee will make recommendations to the Board of Directors on developing stronger partnerships with small business resources such as MI-SBDCs, MSHDA, MEDC, SBA, higher education and others. Members of this committee should have a working relationship with some of their local resources already.

Committee Description: This committee will make recommendations to the Board of Directors on dues levels, membership benefits, and matters important to the general membership. This committee meets four times throughout the year and twice before face-to-face membership workshops.
