Join MACP on July 24 for a facilitator training opportunity with Aaron Woloweic and Lindsay Gross of EventGarde.

For chamber staff and/or volunteers interested in managing the facilitation process for board meetings, strategic planning, group projects, focus groups and more.

Aaron and Lindsay are the only certified Technology of Participation (ToP)® facilitators in the state of Michigan. Objectives of the training include:

  • Increased knowledge and understanding of facilitative leadership
  • Understanding of common facilitation pitfalls
  • Use of basic facilitation tactics for all types of events
  • Understanding how people process information


Training includes a follow-up opportunity for a deeper dive into the topic. 


US Chamber Government Affairs Conference

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the Michigan Association of Chamber Professionals are teaming up to offer scholarships for the 2018 U.S. Chamber of Commerce Regional Government Affairs Conference & COSC/ASCP Annual Meeting taking place September 12-14, 2018 in New Orleans.

With the policy landscape constantly shifting, staying up to date can be a challenge for chambers across the country. This year’s conferences will be jam-packed with valuable advocacy workshops, a look at the 2018 political landscape, and an overview of the issues that matter the most at the local, state, and federal levels.
